Personnel

Ø  The Board accepted the resignation of Joyce Zettler, Middle School Cook.

Ø  The Board employed Kim Greenlee, Fifth Grade Teacher; Aaron Urich ½ High School Business Teacher & ½ High School ISS; Sandy Evans, Elementary Secretary; Chrissy Pashia, High School Secretary; Justin Nettles, Special Education Aide and Sara Minor, Bus Driver.

 

Unfinished Business

Ø  The Board approved the summer 2011 Educational Tour.

 

New Business

Ø  The Board set the tax rate at $3.25.

Ø  The Board reviewed Superintendent Randy Davis’ opening day presentation.

Ø  The Board approved the 2009-2010 Annual Secretary of the Board Report (ASBR).

Ø  The Board reviewed preliminary AYP data.

Ø  The Board approved the District Accountability Plan.

Ø  New Faculty Members were introduced to the Board

Ø  The Board approved Potosi High School’s withdrawal from North Central Association of Review and Accreditation (NCA).

Ø  The Board approved District participation in the Washington County Health Department Grant.

Ø  The Board approved continuation of the Career Ladder Program for the 2010-2011 school year with the District portion of 50% funding at each level along with following state guidelines for eligibility, participation and implementation.

Ø  The Board approved Nurse and Non-Nurse Protocols.

Ø  The Board approved eligibility criteria for free/reduced meals.

Ø  The Board approved the Conflict of Interest Policy.

Ø  The Board approved Faculty and Support Staff Handbooks.

Ø  The Board approved the Professional Development Plan.

Ø  The Board approved the Mentor/Mentee Handbook.

Ø  The Board recognized Shane Blair, Transportation Director, and District Mechanics for receiving a Bus Inspection Certificate for the high percentage (95%) of buses that passed inspection during the most recent inspection.

Ø  The Board approved the MSIP Program Evaluation of Summer School.
