Senior Announcements

 

  • Seniors, check out Cappex's new scholarship search at http://www.cappex.com/scholarships. You can easily view the relative competition for each scholarship so you can understand your chances of receiving an award and it also helps you to understand the time it takes to complete each application so you can focus your time appropriately.

  • Seniors interested in attending Mizzou should check out the following scholarships: The Ponder Minority Scholarship, The Robert J. W. Tulaske, Sr. Scholarship in Business, and the Sam M.   • Seniors the John T. Belcher Scholarship application is available in the counseling office. Selection will be based on academic achievement, need, leadership abilities and the quality of an essay related to public education. Amount: The statewide winner receives a $1,500.00 scholarship and the other 16 regional winners each receive a $750.00 scholarship. Deadline: Turn into the counseling office by November 9, 2010.

  • Any senior interested in meeting with a representative from Hannibal LaGrange College on Friday, November 5th at 1:00 p.m. should sign up in the counseling office.

  • Seniors interested in Criminal Justice should check out the Missouri Sheriffs' Association Scholarship. Applicants must have a 2.0 G.P.A. or higher, and be active in extracurricular activities to apply. Applications are available in the counseling office. Deadline to apply is January 31st.

  • Seniors the next project graduation meeting is Thursday, November 4th at 7 p.m. in the PHS Commons Area. All seniors and parents are invited to attend. You should receive a letter in the mail listing the fundraisers. Please select a fundraiser to work on and return the form to the counseling office or mail it to the address listed in the letter. Your help is needed to make the Class of 2011 Project Graduation party a success

  • Seniors, the Missouri Junior Chamber International senate is now seeking applications for two $250 scholarship awards. The award winners will then compete for an additional $1,000 scholarship. Winners are selected based on academics and leadership. Deadline to apply is December 15th at  http://www.mojcisentate.org/

  • Seniors: If you were not in your advisory class this week and didn't get to order a senior shirt, please stop by the library. These shirts are being provided to you from your class funds so they will not cost you, however, you must select your size. Please do this by this Fri., 11-5

  • Seniors, the BigSun Organization are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving athletic student. All student athletes are eligible. To learn more please visit http://www.bigsunathletics.com . Deadline to apply is June 23, 2011

  • Seniors, the Lead and Enhance Accounting Profession Scholarships are now available. The application link is https://www.scholarselect.com/scholarships/1050-2011-leap-high-school-scholarship.
