What Are The Students Requirements?

 

Students must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the tuition reimbursement:

-To be eligible, each student must have entered into a written agreement with a designated A+ School and   met the following requirements:

-Attend a designated A+ School for three consecutive years prior to high school graduation.

-Graduate from high school with a cumulative (4 year period) grade point average of 2.5 or higher on 4.0 scale.

-Have at least 95% cumulative (4 year period) attendance record upon high school graduation – ALL absences count against A+ attendance.

-Perform fifty (50) hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring to academically younger students.

-Maintain a record of good citizenship and avoidance of the unlawful use or possession of drugs and alcohol or related paraphernalia.

-Complete the online FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).  Proof of receipt will be required either by the date stamped postcard attached to the FAFSA or by the electronic confirmation number given when the FAFSA is completed online.

-Provide the A+ office with a copy of your social security card or driver’s license with social security number on it for verification purposes.
