Physical Science

Physical Science is an introductory course in the field of chemistry and physics. It is designed to meet one of the required science credits, and also is a preliminary course for further studies in chemistry, physics, or biology. Major concepts of physical science will emphasize matter and the effects of energy on matter. Content will focus on information and skills needed for the physical science end-of-course exam.

Integrated Science

The subject matter attempts to integrate the study of the composition of matter into the scientific disciplines of biology, physics, geology, and astronomy. Students are expected to have a limited background in subjects mentioned and have a basic understanding of mathematics. The educational experience is aimed more toward a practical understanding and less toward academic advancement.
