Shawn McCue

      Mr. Hostetler grew up in Ohio and moved to Missouri in 1996. He graduated from Blue Eye High School in 1997, then attended Lindenwood University. He graduated in 2001 with a BA in English and in 2004 his MA in Educational Administration.

     Before coming to Potosi he taught English at Southwest R-V for 2 years, then he taught at Viburnum for 3 years. He was hired at Potosi High School in 2006 for the assistant principal position.

     He is currently attending Maryville University to earn his Ed. D. in Educational Administration.

     Mr. McCue has had the privilege of being in education for nine years. He has coached and taught, and is now venturing into administration. His philosophy is that the worth of a society is determined by the value it places on its children. He has a beautiful wife, Jennifer, and a son, Carter.

      Mr. McCue is glad to be here at Potosi High School.  He has an "open door" policy and invites everyone to come and share their ideas and concerns with him.
