Mrs. Carrie Wands graduated from Illinois State University and Lincoln Christian College in May of 1999. She started teaching in Pana, Illinois and taught there for 3 years. The past 5 years she has been in Chesterton, Indiana where she taught similar classes to what she is currently teaching.

Pre-Algebra:

This is designed for 9th grade students who have struggled with mathematical skills and concepts previously. Through a variety of activities and projects, these students will develop a solid base of skills to set them up for success in Algebra course.

Applied Algebra II:

This course is designed for students coming from Applied Algebra I as it is the, second of a two-year Algebra I course. Students will refine previous mathematical skills and build the abstract concept of Algebra through a variety of problems, projects, and hands-on-lab activities.
