World RegionsWorld Regions is offered as a required social studies course taught at the applied level of learning. Students will learn how people modify and adjust their environment and will be aware of the influences of the various ethnic and cultural groups and be tolerant and respectful of the ethnic differences existing in today's world.
World GeographyThis course will study fundamental history, economics, and place locations of the earth and its regions. Students will learn how people of the world differ in culture and how cultures have developed according to geography and/or environment. Additional emphasis will be place on completion of graphs, charts, and maps.

PsychologyPsychology is a one semester social studies elective. This course will focus on the fundamental aspects of human behavior. This course will help students actively learn through methods of practice and feedback. The students will be given the chance to look at the basics of psychology as they apply to work, education, human relations, community, civic programs, and social environment interests.
