Mrs. Jackson

Mrs. Jackson has been teaching for eighteen years, all of which have been at Potosi High School. Mrs. Jackson also sponsored the basketball cheerleading from 1997-2005. She is also a Sophomore class sponsor. Mrs. Jackson has five children, Jodie, Keith, Natalie, Elaina and Tyler. As of now Jodie is a registered nurse, Keith is a Police officer, Natalie works at Potosi Elementary as an aide and attends Central Methodist University. Natalie will also be graduating college in December 2009. Elaina is attending Northwest MO State University who will also be graduating from her college in December 2009, and Tyler now works at Helen Fitzgerald's..

Practical English IV

This course is designed to prepare the college bound student for college and the vocational bound student for his or her vocation in the workplace.

Practical English II

This sophomore English course includes an extensive study of the paragraph as a basic unit of English composition.

Novels Senior Language Arts

This class concentrates on written program with individual instruction aimed at each student's uniquely different learning level. Emphasis is placed on word skills, vocabulary expansion, comprehension, study skills, and change of rate to purpose of reading
